  • 4 sweet onions, such as Vidalia, sliced very thin
  • 2 cups water
  • _ cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • _ cup Duke's Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. celery salt


1. Combine onion slices, water, vinegar and sugar in a large bowl or zip-top bag. Refrigerate overnight.

2. Drain liquid from onions, then mix in mayonnaise and celery salt.

3. Refrigerate for about 3 hours and serve.

Try as a topping for hamburgers or as a snack on crackers.
