Miss Rita’s Shrimp Dip

  • 2 to 3 lbs. shrimp
  • ½ onion, chopped really fine
  • 2 8 oz. blocks cream cheese
  • 1 qt. Duke's Mayonnaise
  • Pinch of sugar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • Pinch of pepper
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 3 dashes hot sauce


Cook and peel shrimp. Chop shrimp in food processor with onion. Add softened cream cheese. Add Duke’s Mayonnaise, a pinch of sugar and ½ cup ketchup. Add a pinch of pepper, ⅓ cup of milk and 3 dashes of hot sauce. Blend all with a mixer. Serve with chips or crackers.
