1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Place beef, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk and ¼ cup BBQ sauce in a large bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Gently mix with hands until mixture is fully combined; do not overwork meat.
3. Shape meat mixture into a loaf shape in a 9×13” baking dish.
4. Bake for 30 minutes, then coat with remaining ½ cup of BBQ sauce. Return to oven and cook for another hour or until meatloaf has an internal temperature of 160°F.
Takes meatloaf up a notch with extra flavor.
No boring ketchup here! BBQ sauce adds a new dimension of flavor with sweet, spicy, molasses and vinegar.
Omit onions if desired. Try with the other varieties of Duke’s Southern BBQ Sauces.
